What is the real story

Have you ever wondered how  a claim will affect your insurance rates? Is it the dollar amount or the number of claims? Many people are led to believe that small claims do not affect insurance rates as much as a large claim. Most insurance company rates are determined by the number of claims rather than the dollar amount. For example three $800 claims will affect your rates more than  one $100,000 claim. keep that in mind when deciding whether to turn in a small claim or just pay for it yourself. If you aren't sure ask your agent or give me a call. I would be happy to help you out.

Getting down to business

Farmers can insure many different businesses. It is essential to have the proper coverage for your unique business. You must have a thorough assessment of your needs and potential liability.
Some of the businesses Farmers Insurance writes are Apartment buildings and condominiums which include coverage on buildings, contents at replacement value or actual cash value. Also, loss of rental income and clean up.
Artisan contractor coverage includes inland marine and property, crime, liability, auto and more.
Manufacturing coverages will include building replacement, loss of income, computer equipment, and spoilage.
Farmers also insures most wholesale business, restaurants, retail, and office.
Please be sure your insurance covers you and your business in the event of an accident or tragedy.
Call me with any questions or if you would like me to look over your policy.

Quick fact

Did you know that statistically 60% of homeowners don't have enough coverage on their homeowners policy to fix or rebuild their home after a fire?  75% of people don't notify their agent when they add on or remodel their home, causing them to be underinsured.

It's not too early to be prepared

Sometimes young people wonder about life insurance. If they are too young to be thinking about it or if they shouldn't worry until they are married. If you are young and healthy and whether you are single, engaged or just recently married, this is the best time to apply for a life policy. The policy will be less expensive now when you are young and don't have any major health issues. Even if you don't have children yet or don't think you are "worth" enough. You are worth everything to your loved ones and the policy is about taking care of them when you are gone. Maybe it is just enough for a funeral maybe it will cover the debt you have. Purchasing a life policy is making a very big and very personal statement to your family.
There are several different types of policies to meet your specific needs. I would be happy to sit down and explain all of them and how they work.
Call me for a no obligation consultation about life policies.

No obligation.

One of my main goals as an agent for Farmers is to make sure my clients have the right coverage for them and they understand it. I also want to extend this invitation to anyone out there regardless of your insurance company.  I would be happy to sit down with you and look over your policy to make sure you are properly covered at the best price and understand what the policy means. As your life changes and your family grows your coverage needs to change too, so if your policy hasn't been checked in a while make it a priority. Give me a call and I will look it over for you. I can be reached at 952-393-2321 This is a free no obligation service.
